This little break happened for a reason I wish it never would.
One of our former staff members and a good friend of mine lost his life in the most tragic of ways. A car crash.
It’s been a shock, as he was so excited about all aspects of life. The wonderful memories he collected. The work he did, doing his best to make the world a better place. The future he had, with lists upon lists of things he wanted to do.
All of that got taken away in one single moment.
I’ve definitely gained some perspective on life, as tragic as that sounds. We’d talked the night before and made plans together. His life, mine and the next time we’d meet.
Only one part of those plans can still be done, and I’ll make damn sure I will.
For myself, because I know he’s right. For him, because his memory deserves to be honoured.
While we are mourning the loss of our friend, others are rejoicing to meet him behind the veil. – John Taylor
See you on the other side my friend.
